All files stored in Flywheel have a corresponding meta-data file, often referred to as the info object. This data is accessible to users through the web app, as well as the SDK. This page only discussed the web app access and editing of the info file. Users can edit information on the project page, project tab, subject tab, session tab, acquisition and file.

To edit existing fields
Simply click on the desired field and begin to make changes. As soon as any changes have occurred, a Save Changes and Cancel button will appear on the modal or tab you are working on.
To create custom fields
Navigate to the Custom Information component. Click "+" and select the desired data type, string, number, array or object. When adding an array or object you will also be able to add custom fields inside them. Define a unique label and value, then click Save Changes.
To edit acquisitions and files
Begin by clicking the context menu on the right of the acquisition or file name and select Information.
