Entering useful information while setting up your MRI session on the scanner will allow for Flywheel's reaper to properly route it to the right project. Good descriptive labels also help curate the data to look the way you want and be set up to take advantage of Gear Rule automations.
There are 5 Flywheel metadata values that you can specify at the scanner: Group ID, Project Label, Subject Label, Session Label, and Acquisition Label.
The reapers read the DICOM headers to know what to set for those Flywheel metadata. This can be customized for any scanner and is often different for each research center. Please contact your local Site Admin to verify what your local settings are.
The default settings Flywheel uses in most locations is the following:
|DICOM Header field||Flywheel label|
You will want to make sure the values in those fields on the scanner match where you want the data to go and be labeled as in Flywheel.
