BrainBrowser Info

Flywheel has packaged a version of the BrainBrowser viewer which can be used to visualize brain surface objects. Use this viewer when viewing files of the 3D Object type - the default type applied to files uploaded the .obj extension.

BrainBrowser is a JavaScript library allowing for web-based, 2D and 3D visualization of neurological data. BrainBrowser uses open web-standard technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and WebGL. The Surface Viewer uses the three.js library for 3D rendering.

Installation

The BrainBrowser viewer is available as a Viewer Extension Application.

Manual updates required after site upgrades

Viewer Extension Applications are not updated automatically when your site is upgraded. If a new version of this viewer is released, you must manually update the registered URL to the latest version from the Release History table below. Before updating the site-level registration, you can register and test the new URL on a test project to verify it works as expected.

Register the Brain Browser Viewer Extension Application using these recommended settings.
