BrainBrowser Info

Flywheel has packaged a version of the BrainBrowser viewer which can be used to visualize brain surface objects. Use this viewer when viewing files of the 3D Object type - the default type applied to files uploaded with the .obj extension.

BrainBrowser is a JavaScript library allowing for web-based, 2D and 3D visualization of neurological data. BrainBrowser uses open web-standard technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and WebGL. The Surface Viewer uses the three.js library for 3D rendering.

Installation

With Flywheel versions 20.3.0 and later, the BrainBrowser viewer is no longer bundled, and available only as a Viewer Extension Application.

Register the Brain Browser Viewer Extension Application using these recommended settings.
