Create annotations as part of a task

Overview

For certain tasks, you may be required to annotate the images. The V3 viewer allows you to select from a list of tools and directly start annotating images. Annotations will then be saved with your task upon completion.

Create annotations

Whether the task form is instructing you to draw some annotations or not, you can select a tool from the right-side toolbar at any time and directly start annotating images.

To create annotations as part of your task:

  1. Select an annotation tool from the right-side toolbar.
  2. Start drawing on the image. Select a label if prompted. The measurement panel automatically opens on the right-side.
  3. Edit label if needed.
  4. Draw additional annotations, or resume filling out the task form by clicking on the form icon in the right-side toolbar.

For tasks that contain more than one image series, annotations can be created on any of those series. Annotations are grouped by image in the measurement panel and are saved with the task upon completing the task or saving a draft.
